Helicopter Twirls Out of Control into Palm Fronds at Well-Known California Beach
An aircraft soaring over a well-attended coastal shoreline suddenly began spiraling wildly, finally dropping height and smashing into a line of palm trees as onlookers watched.
Videos uploaded on social media capture the aircraft commencing to spiral above the shoreline then plunging towards the perimeter of the shore, where it ends up lodged among palms and a set of stairs adjacent to the shoreline route.
First Aid Update
Local firefighters stated five people were transported to a medical facility involving two individuals who were in the chopper and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the incident on Saturday.
Three individuals on the road were injured. Information on their wounds were still under review.
The cause of the crash was not immediately released.
